Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans and circumstances can change, we will always endeavour as much as possible to accommodate any alterations to a planned activity. In the event that the client needs to cancel we will apply a cancellation policy as below. In exceptional circumstances we may still offer a refund within cancellation penalty stages.

1. If cancelled by Surf’SUP Surf School due to weather/conditions or other reasons we will offer to reschedule or refund.
2. If cancelled by Surf’SUP Surf School due to actions taken by the customer such as being under the influence of alcohol or endangering themselves or others, management reserve the right to retain full cost of activity.
3. If cancelled by a client less than 7 days in advance, 100% of the fee may be retained.
4. If cancelled 7-14 days in advance 50% of fee may be retained.
5. Deposits or payments relating to an event are non-refundable.
6. Any activity terminated due to health, fitness or actions of the clients once started will not be refunded.
7. If lessons are cancelled due to rain or weather where it is still safe to surf or paddle, 100% of fee will be retained.
8. If members of a group booking do not show up or declare that they are not partaking on the day of the booking, 100% of fee will be retained.

Health Disclosures

Surf’SUP Surf School does not accept any liability caused through failure to complete the health questionnaire or sign in sheet. all participants must make Surf’SUP Surf School aware of any medical conditions, illnesses (for example, asthma, epilepsy), disability, any phobia, allergies or medication you are taking or any injuries you have sustained prior to any activity. parents or guardians must sign in and complete form for participants who are under 16 years of age. Where applicable, in certain groups a group leader/guardian can sign for a minor participant. for example, a school teacher can sign on behalf of a group from that school, a youth leader can sign on behalf of a group from that organisation. We do not accept any responsibility for a leader/guardian who has failed to get participation forms signed for their group.
